◆ About the expo:

      随着西部大开发战略的实施，我国在今后相当长一段时期内将开始把轨道交通建设重心转向西部地区。按规划 , 在 " 十一五 " 期间，西部铁路大中型项目基建投资预计将达二千亿元左右。而随着西部经济发展 , 西部各大城市地铁、轻轨等轨道交通建热潮初现。发展西部轨道交通，无论从改变西部目前相对落后的交通现状，满足西部地区经济发展的需要，还是从拉动国民经济增长，发展适合我国国情的交通运输体系来看，都具有极其重要的意义。

      As part of the efforts to implement the west development strategy, China will be shifting the center of railway construction to the western region for quite a long time in the future. According to plan, the infrastructure investment in medium to large railway projects in the western region will reach about 200 billion RMB during the 11^th “five-year” plan period. As the western economy booms, the construction of subways and light rails etc. is beginning to heat up in major cities of the region. Developing rail transport is of great importance in terms of changing the current relatively backward transport situation of the western region and meeting the requirements of economic development as well as in terms of boosting the national economy growth and developing transport systems suitable to China’s situations.

      西安作为西部的桥头堡，是举世闻名的十三朝古都，西部最发达的政治、经济、交通、科技、文化、教育、商业和物流中心城市，具有巨大的经济辐射能力。目前西安地铁项目正式通过国家批准；随着西安地铁二号线的开工建设，标志千年古城西安也将进入“地铁时代”。西安远期规划将建设6条地铁线总长251.8公里，总投资近500亿元。“2007西部地铁轻轨及铁路建设展览会” 作为了西安地铁建设的配套项目配合西安地铁及西部城市轨道交通和铁路建设。将于2007年4月26–28日在西安国际展览中心举办。

      As a leading city of the western region and famed for being the ancient capital for 13 dynasties, Xi’an is the most advanced city in the region in terms of politics, economy, transportation, science & technology, culture, education, commerce and logistics, with great economic radiating capacity. Now, the metro project of Xi’an has been officially approved by the state. The start of the construction of the No. 2 subway line of Xi’an marks the ancient city with thousands of years’ history entering the “metro era”. According to long-term plan, 6 subway lines with a total length of 251.8 kilometers will be built and the total investment will be close to 50 billion RMB. The 2007 Western China Metro/Light Rail & Railroad Construction Expo, which serves as an auxiliary project for Xi’an metro construction and gears to the construction of western city railway transport, is to be held at Xi’an International Exhibition Center from April 26^th to 28^th of 2007.

 

      本次展览会将以“展示现代轨道交通技术、构建大西安都市圈”为主题，展示国内外先进的地铁、轻轨及铁路技术装备，通过展会加强地区间的技术交流与合作，为众多有意投资西安地铁建设的企业提供一个绝佳展示平台。届时主办单位将邀请地铁建设指挥部、地铁规划部门、铁路建设等机构人员前来交流洽谈。

      Under the theme of “Showcasing modern rail transport technologies-building Greater Xi’an Rim”, the expo will be featuring advanced subway, light rail and railway technologies and equipment from home and abroad. Meanwhile, the expo will be offering a perfect showcasing platform for a large number of companies intending to invest in the metro construction in Xi’an. The organizers will invite representatives from the metro construction directing office, metro planning body, railway construction companies and other institutions to share their ideas and discuss relevant issues at the expo.

 

      “2007西部地铁轻轨及铁路建设展览会”招展工作目前为止有来自中铁电气化局集团有限公司、中国船舶重工七一一研究所等近20家国家大型地铁企业和国内外60多家地铁配套设施企业参加；吸引了40多家新闻媒体强势报道；并得到了“中铁电气化局集团有限公司”的冠名赞助。展会期间将邀请中铁隧道勘测设计院、铁道部第一勘察设计院、中铁电气化勘测设计研究院、铁道部第二勘察设计院、中铁一局集团等西安地铁工程承包企业到会参观洽谈；希望行业内众多企事业单位参与、支持本次展会、支持西安现代化地铁建设

      So far, about 20 large scale domestic subway companies like China Railway Electrification Bureau Group Co., Ltd. and Shanghai Marine Diesel Engine Research Institute as well as 60-plus subway auxiliary equipment companies from home and abroad have confirmed their attendance to the expo. There will be extensive media coverage by more than 40 news agencies. The expo is primarily sponsored by China Railway Electrification Bureau Group Co., Ltd. Representatives from contracting firms for Xi’an metro project like China Railway Tunnel Reconnaissance Design Institute, First Survey and Design Institute of China Railway, China Railway Electrification Survey Design & Research Institute, The Second Railway Survey and Design Institute and China Railway First Group, etc will be invited to the expo for business talks and visiting. ◆Exhibition fees:

1、标准展位（3ｍ×3ｍ﹦9M²，包括：展出场地、三面2.5M高围板、一条中英文楣牌、一张

洽谈桌、二把椅子、一个220V电源插座、两支射灯。）

1. A standard booth: 3M×3M﹦9M², including: exhibition space, 3*3 panels (height:2.5M), one fascia board with Chinese characters and English words, one reception desk, two chairs, one socket (220V) and two spotlights.

2、光地（36m²起租，包括：展出场地、保安、清洁服务﹑无任何设施。）

2. Raw space: including exhibition space, security and cleanness services. No facilities are available and the starting point for hiring: 36m².

 

 

 

注明：参展企业若选择双开口展位加收20％双开口展位费用，特装为品牌展区。

会务费：参展代表每人500元人民币（用于会议资料、午餐、纪念品等）。

技术交流：参展单位自愿申请；每场90分钟国内企业每场收费6800元人民币，国外企业1200美元。

Remarks: Exhibitors who choose a booth with double openings will be charged with additional 20% of the total amount; the specially installed area is for brand exhibition only;

Conference fee: each representative from any exhibitor should pay 500RMB (for conference material, lunches, souvenirs, etc.)

Technical exchange session: an optional item; exhibitors who wish to attend should submit applications; session fees: domestic companies: 6800RMB/per company/per session (90 minutes); overseas companies: 1200USD/per company/per session (90 minutes).

◆ Exhibition attendance arrangement and publicity

      主办单位发文邀请政府职能部门相关领导及采购部门的经理、工程师；邀请国内外地铁协会、地铁公司、金融专家、地铁指挥部、轻轨指挥部和设计部门、研究院等机构前来交流洽谈，所特邀来参观的人员，都免费提供四星级酒店和就餐，并赠送高档礼品。大会将在国内外160多家行业内或相关行业的权威媒体杂志上大量投放宣传推广。通过承办单位多年积累的用户资源数据库，以请柬、传真、电子邮件、直邮网站等手段广泛邀请行业人士参观。    

      Invitations will be sent by the expo organizers to leaders of government departments, procurement managers and engineers, domestic and overseas metro associations, metro companies, finance experts, metro /light rail directing offices, design departments & research institutes for discussions and exchanges at the expo. All invited attendees will be entitled to free 4-star hotel accommodation, meals and high class gifts. There will be a large scale advertising campaign for the expo in 160 plus domestic and foreign authoritative magazines in the industry and those in relevant industries. Meanwhile, invitations through cards, faxes, emails and websites will be sent to a wide range of people via the database that’s been amassed over the years by the managing unit.  

 

◆参展手续

1.参展单位需详细填写《参展回执表》并加盖单位公章,传真或邮寄至组委会。

1. Exhibitors should fill out the Exhibition Application Form and stamp the official seal before faxing or mailing it to the organizing committee.

2.参展单位在7个工作日内将参展费用电汇或转账至承办单位指定帐号，底单传真至组委会。

2. Exhibitors should pay the exhibition fees via wire transfer or account transfer to the designated bank account of the managing unit within 7 workdays and fax the copy of transfer documents to the organizing committee.

3.承办单位收到参展费用后，即向参展商下达“参展确认书”。全款付清后下达“报到手册”(内含：参展通知书、酒店接待、展品运输须知等)。参展商中途退展参展费用不予退还。

3. On receipt of the exhibition fees, the managing unit should issue the Exhibition Confirmation Letter to the exhibitor. And the Registration Manual (including Exhibition Notice, notices on hotel accommodation and exhibition article transportation, etc.) should be issued on receipt of the full payment. No refund for the exhibition fees is available in the event that the exhibitor withdraws the expo before it ends.
